Excellent stay, beautiful house, great staff. We really appreciated the daily housekeeping especially. The taco shack was fantastic and a real lifesaver for breakfast, lunch, and on-property cocktails. We were also very impressed by the seeming army of people who were always around to clean, maintain, and beautify the property. Lots of attention was devoted to making everything just right. 

A truly sublime oasis

Zorba was the perfect place to gather with friends. The villas are spacious, beautifully-decorated and well-equipped. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Zorba offers everything! Comfortable beach lounging, great ocean play, close proximity to restaurants, night clubs, yoga classes. I also loved hammock lounging, dips in the pool and the food at the taco bar. I can’t say enough good things about Zorba in Tulum!

Our experience and place was absolutely phenomenal. We truly couldn't have asked for anything better for our group. We loved the location - a little bit more of a walk (10 min) from the really hectic part of the strip, which meant we had the nicer shops and hotels near us - perfect for my 2 76 year old parents and 605 year old aunt (and me, a 44 year old that goes to bed at 8pm!). But honestly, the house was SPOTLESS, the most Clean and well appointed, beautiful pool and beach, and the taco bar! Unfortunately the chef was in an accident and we were not able to use that throughout our trip, however we were able to use the one at the sister property down the road and it was delicious. Honestly, if you are trying to decide on this property, do not deliberate - its amazing in every way :)

Villa great for group trip!

Zorba was amazing! The villa was perfect for a group trip - we went for my sister's bachelorette and there were 8 of us staying in villa #4. Everything worked out so well and the concierge team couldn't have been more helpful with everything we needed.

Family of 6 Tulum Vacation

We stayed at the Zorba Villa for 8 nights with our 4 young boys (8-14 years). We met the concierge Chabely upon check in. The Villa is very nice and was clean upon our arrival. The air conditioning works well, all the showers were in good working condition. In our Villa the master bedroom is on the 3rd level with a separate outside staircase to reach it. Your shower for that room is 100% outside in a private balcony. Having the kids in one part of the house and the master separate gave us some anxiety but we survived. The beach is beautiful and our boys who are good swimmers had no problems. They enjoyed the community pool and hammocks. There is a "taco stand" which cooks breakfast and lunch and the food is very good. The only issue we had were the prices being high otherwise we would have eaten there every day. We rented an SUV and it was a challenge to park but we made it work. I would suggest you rent, as we took a cab and were charged 520 pesos to travel 1km to the ice cream shop or $32 USD. Either we got taken or their prices are higher than NYC or Paris. It is a shame visitors leave Tulum feeling they were taken advantage of by the locals. Plenty of restaurants to walk to but, look at the prices, pay attention to the exchange rate, watch the service fee. These are prices you would not expect in Mexico and we have never seen elsewhere in the country. We will return again soon.

The Tulum beach area is known for high prices so it is helpful to have the private beach access and a kitchen included in your stay. It is important to ask the taxi rate before you ride and try to negotiate before getting in. It is unfortunate they charged you so much. Thankfully there are many things you can walk to from Zorba. Time to connect and recharge in paradise.

We are just home from the perfect family getaway at Zorba. The fluffy white sand and turquoise ocean are the stuff of dreams. Speaking of which, we all had some of our deepest dreamiest sleeps. The beds are comfy and linens are smooth cotton. We all had favourites from the taco shack. Kudos to the team there making excellent coffee, fresh juice, the best huevos rancheros ever! It is such a treat to have time with family where you can truly relax and play. The staff look after all the details and are warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. We can’t wait to return.
